Vultures – ‘The Mystery Of The Night Time Refuse’ goes online
The third episode in the Vultures series; ‘The Mystery Of The Night Time Refuse’ went online today, and is now FREE TO WATCH on VulturesPI.com.The new installment follows the dysfunctional detectives of Vultures Private Investigators as they move into a new office, only to be accused of rubbish dumping outside the new
premises.
When they are threatened with eviction by scarily intense litter warden Ned Savage, the detectives must get to the bottom of… lots of bin bags. Are they being framed? Is someone trying to get them kicked out of office after office? Why are their belongings in
this new rubbish? And does Eddie Hobbs actually write his own books? All is revealed in the third instalment of the popular local web series.
Sean Hackett, John Morton and David Thompson return as Tennyson, Vultour and McGrain. The cast also features myself (Jack Street), Liadain Kaminska (Isabelle Vultour), Stephen Colfer (Tom Moriarty), Gus McDonagh (Noah Hennessy), Niamh Moroney (Sarah Black), Paul Young (Inspector Leeson), Tommy Ruane (The Stalkee) and Eddie Brennan (Fred Bass). Newcomers to the cast are John Doran as Ned Savage and Peter McGann as the hard partying, hen night loving V.P.I lawyer,
Matt McLoughlin.
With a new crew and office in place, Vultures is kicking up a gear as the first series motors on, filming has already begun on episode 4. As I’ve mentioned before I’m directing this episode, my first venture into directing. The project was awarded funding by the Arts Office in Kilkenny in order to complete a 6 episode series for internet distribution. All previous episodes of Vultures can be viewed on www.vulturespi.com along with behind-the-scenes photographs,
artwork and character profiles.
Vultures is available as a free video podcast on I-Tunes. All the episodes, trailers and related material from the show is available and once subscribed, will automatically be added to your I-Tunes library.![]()
The series has been developed by my good friends Paddy Dunne, John Morton and Alan Slattery over the past two years as the flagship project of local production company Mycrofilms. Vultures is due to keep shooting over the next few months with the 6 episode series scheduled to be completed by May 2009.
